My Hopes and Dreams

                                                 

My hopes and dreams for 5th grade consist of 5 different things. The first thing is that I want to do is  become better at using the smart board. I am not very good with it, and I plan on participating a lot so I  can go to the board and practice using it.

The second thing I hope to accomplish is expanding my vocabulary,   as well as spelling. I want to learn bigger and better words, so that I can use them when I am writing.

My spelling could use improvement too, and I hope I can accomplish that goal this year. I also want to become a faster reader. I kind of slacked off during the summer with reading, so hopefully I can read even faster than I did last year.

My fourth goal this year is that I want to learn about history, specifically World War 2. My brother told me about it World War 2 when he was in 8th grade, and it sounds very interesting. I hope we will learn about it this year.

My last thing is that  I want to become more organized, because last year I had a very messy desk and it was hard to get some of my binders and folders out. I also lost a few papers as well. Now that I’m in fifth grade I hope to be much more organized and mature.

There are my five biggest hopes and dreams for 5th grade. I think I need to accomplish all of these if I want to do well in middle school. But with hard work and good determination, I can accomplish all of these goals. I am looking forward to fifth grade for sure!

My hopes and dreams for this year is to work on hanging up my  backpack. I need to work on this because I don't hang up to pack up when I do that. I  will leave a note on my desk reminding me to hang up my bag. If that doesn't work then I'll ask a friend to remind me. I hope I can get better at hanging up my bag.

My Hopes and Dreams for  Fifth Grade

My Hopes and Dreams for fifth grade are to learn how to use computer tools better, write with more vocabulary, understand science better, and to participate more during class. I would like to learn how to use computer tools better because my brother is really good at using the computer. I would like to write with more vocabulary this year because it would make my writing stronger and deeper. Understanding science would help me on science tests that I will have in the future . I also want to participate more this year because it would make my parents and I  happy. Also, it would probably help me understand and learn better. These are my Hopes and Dreams for fifth grade.

                     My hopes and dreams for 5TH grade are to become a talented artist. The next subject for hopes and dreams is a goal: Reach level Z in reading before I’m in middle school. It can be some extra hard work, but I’m sure I’ll make it (or not).My third subject for hopes and dreams are to visit the Empire State Building in Manhattan.It has 102 floors,WOW!!! that’s a lot of floors. I’ve learned that the rich people live at the pent house of a building.I wish I could visit the pent house of the Empire State Building also.Did you know?

The Empire State Building was the tallest building in Manhattan. The Fourth subject   (Last

but not least) about hopes and dreams is imagining my self as a weathly adult when I grow up.My favorite book is Diary of a Wimpy Kid.There’s this new book coming out, It’s called Diary of a Wimpy Kid #5.  I’ve heard it’s awesome.

I’ve had so much fun telling about my hopes and dreams,but now that I’m out of ideas, I think this is it.

My hopes and dreams for fifth grade are to be better at science. In science I want to do more experiments because sometimes I get mixed up in the experiments. I will improve at science by studying more about it and by doing more experiments. These are the hopes and dreams for me this year in class.

My hopes and dreams for fifth grade is to learn more about geography. I want to learn more facts about new places.When I learn about these facts, I can help people that need facts about certain places. Also, I want to improve on my vocabulary. I want to learn new and challenging words. I want to try to use the new words I learn when I speak. It will improve my speaking and language when I speak to other people. I want to practice not feeling uncomfortable when I talk in front of a group of people. I could improve on that by volunteering in activities at school and everywhere.

My hopes and dreams are to get better at reading and writing. I need to get better at my reading because I didn’t read that much in last year. I will get better at my reading by reading more books. I’m going to read more different genres like historical fiction or mystery,etc. I will also get better at my reading by trying to read more fluently. I need to get better at my writing because my writing isn’t that good.  I will get better at my writing by using better vocabulary. I will also get better at my writing by writing more often. My hopes and dreams for my final year in elementary school will be to improve my fluency in reading. I think reading is fun, but I need to work on my fluency. I need to work on this because while I read, I stop a couple of times. I want to improve on those mistakes. I think reading out loud more at home will help me improve. At home my mom and dad help a lot by reminding me to read out loud more. They also give me different tips for what I should do to improve my fluency.When I started getting better and better, I started volunteering to read out loud at school. I am trying my best to improve and I think I am going to master in my fluency in reading.

My hopes and dreams for fifth grade are to read different genres of books. I realized last year that I was only reading fiction and fantasy books. I want to learn to read historical books and biographies.I will improve on this by reading a lot of non-fiction books and not a lot of fiction books. I will work with my teacher to help me find non-fiction books to read. I hope to make my hopes and dreams come true in fifth grade!

My Hopes and Dreams for this year are trying to work on more math skills, learning more about how to use computers, and increasing my reading level. I want to work on my math skills because I really try hard at math but sometimes I get things wrong in math which stinks. I definitely want to work on my reading skills this year because when I grow up I want to become a great reader. This year I will pay more attention to my teacher.

My Hopes and Dreams for Fifth Grade



 

My Hopes and Dreams for this year are to become a better reader, a better writer, and improve on my computer skills.  I didn’t read many books last year. I will improve  my reading by reading more books on my reading level.  My mom will make sure I will read at home.   Another goal for this year is to become a better writer. I hope that I will be able to accomplish this task by having teachers help me add more details to my writing. I hope to become better at the computer. I need to learn how to type faster, become better at using the computer tools, and learn more about blogging.I hope to learn more about the computer in the Denton Dynamos classroom with the help of the teachers. I will achieve all of these goals by reading , writing , and working on computers. I hope it will be a great year!
