Kid Nation vs. The Colonies

Article posted November 7, 2007 at 10:37 AM GMT0 • comment (6) • Reads 486

We've recently viewed part of the CBS reality show "Kid Nation". We've also compared challenges the kids faced with challenges the colonists might have faced. However, what about you? Which one would you have rather done? Here are your choices:

1. Go on the show Kid Nation: leaving your family and friends behind along with the comforts of life.

2. Be a colonist in the New World: remember, you wouldn't be leaving anyone behind AND you wouldn't be on television.

Make a choice and let me know why! Be sure to be appropriate and only leave your first name and last initial when answering!

Is Summer Always Fun?

Article posted June 12, 2007 at 01:48 AM GMT0 • comment (7) • Reads 44

Yes..summer time is almost upon all of us. Two full months of relaxing, no homework, and nothing to study. (Well, except for those of us in some type of summer school.) I know how much all of you love the end of the school year...BUT is there anything about the summer that you don't like? Does anyone miss school at all??? Let me know...

Substitutes

Article posted June 4, 2007 at 03:07 PM GMT0 • comment (19) • Reads 41

I see that many of you have gotten the hang of comments...great. Here is a new topic for you...substitutes. Why is it that some change their behavior for subs? Does it depend on the sub or is it the change in personality that does it? Help me out with this one. No names of substitutes please...
