 lightning strike I was home with my family when a couple of lightning bolts hit a pole next door. It burst into flames and it sounded like 100 horse whips hitting the pole and I said ‘we’re next’. It struck as loud as I’ve ever heard it. Our home was destroyed. But there was still one hope and the insurance company paid it off. All the lights were turned off and I was just crying like heck. All the money was $200 000 because it did heaps of damage. When our house got fixed up it was good as new.
