Heyy all... In class we are doing flatteners. There are ten different flatteners, and I have been assigned to do in-forming.
In-form, also known as search engines such as yahoo, google, ask jeeves etc. has really chnaged the way we use technology, and how we reasearch. It has changed because You can do almost anything online now a days. You are bale to bank online, shop, and search for certain things. The internet search engines can give heaps of information, anytime you need.
Search engines have made the world easier, and have made the world smaller. You are pretty much able to do do and get what you want.
Ebay is another way of in-forming. You can shop, bid, and look on Ebay. Ebay has helped, because towns like Snow Lake can't just go downtown and buy new clothes, etc. but with Ebay we just have to go online, and shop for what we want, and it will get mailed ot us. Everyone in Snow Lake has access to the internet, by their home, friends or public places.
This is how I think in-forming has changed and made the world smaller.
bye bye H.G

Heyz... In social studies we started a new topic. We are now doing Egypt. So far it has been really fun because, we have not done much. Well anyways one of the things we have started was a mural, on a two metre long piece of white paper.
We were all put in groups of three or four, and given a topic on Egypt. The topic tht my group got was farming and country life. We had to keep in mind that this was three or more thousand years ago.
I think it was about two days ago that we started these. My group got to work with our farming and country life mural. I was assigned to do, the lady, colour in the lake, part of the dock, some farmland, and some grass. One of my partners J.O. did some farmland, the water wheel, most of the grass, some farm land and the cow. My last partner J.C. is doing, part of the dock, colouring the water wheel, and odds and ends. This is hwat we have to do so far. There is much more to add on, this is out of 70 marks.
I think our group is doing really well for the amount of things we have done, in the time we have had. I do have to say that some of us worked a bit better than others in our group. I think that some peoples group work mark and effort mark will be higher than others.
I think that everything has really gone well. I enjoy being with the group i am in, and the ffort we are putting into this project. After all it is out of seventy marks. This will either bring your social studies mark up or it may bring it down.

My hectic weekend

Hello everyone... This was a pretty hectic weekend. On Friday night my friend and I walked down town to go to this sliding party thing. The sliding was soo much fun, that I didnt even realize I was cold until I got into the truck, then I was freezing.
I got home around nine o'clock and was sitting on the couch reading a magizine, when the phone rang. On the phone was my moms friend asking me to babysit her three kids (ages: 8,3,4). I didnt really feel like it but it is almost Christmas time and I need some money for shopping, so I agreed.
When I got there at 9:30 all the kids were still up and HYPER!! They were jumping around attacking eachother and digging through the cupboards.
It was about 11:00 just the time I could start getting them ready for bed. I sat on the couch and watched Fear Factor, then I cleaned up the house, becasue I know parents usually like to come home to a clean house.
It was about three in the morning when the parent came home, and I was super tired. I walked home, and my mom said she was going to Thompson tomorrow morning around seven, and asked if i wanted to come. I said mom it is 3:30 in the morning do you think I want to get up at 7:00. She took that as a no.
The next morning, or afternoon I should say, I woke up and started running the bath. I ate some chicken finngers and fries, then I had a bath.
I went on the internet after to see who was online, there wasnt many people on so I got off, and wrapped some presents. I wrapped about 20 presents then sat on the couch with a movie. I was just about to fall asleep when my moms friend phoned again.
I was talking to her and she asked if I could babysit once again, I said yes. I got there about 8:00, and the youngest which is hard to put to bed was already in bed (in bed at 6). She should have been sleeping but when her mom left she was up and HYPER!!
When I finally got all the brats to bed, and cleaned the house I was doing my homework ( about 2 in the morning), When the little girl, had woke up and had peed her bed sooo bad it was all the way up to her neck! She was freaking out, she owuldnt let me change her, it was so crazy so I phoned her mom. Her mom talked to her and everything was fine, although she woke everyone up and I had to put them to bed AGAIN.
I went home at 10:00am and helped my mom with the tree. It took mym om atleast eight tries (if not more) to put the ribbon on. After she was done that I helped put ornaments on. At 6:00 I went to a pot luck supper with friends, but my friend told me the wrong time so I was an hour late. I stayed for crafts and sing-a-long.
When I got home, I went on the computer, then to bed!!

Hey everyone... Well this is a pretty sad article. A twenty- one year old university girl by the name of K'Leigh Cundall was talking to her boyfriend on the telephone when there was a knock on her apartment door in New Edinburgh. She went to answer it when the murderer started stabbing her viciously. K'Leigh Cundall's boyfriend heard screams over the telephone and immidiatly hung up the phone to call 911.
The police found K'Leigh Cundall with about twenty stab wounds in her chest neck and back. She was announced dead later on that day, in the hospital.
Police believe that K'Leigh Cundall knew her murder from a small town outside of Toronto. The police are charging a twenty-one year old man that was at the scene of the attack when the police arrived.
This has been the third murder this week in Canadas capital. This adds up to eleven homocides this year! This is stated that it has been more than the city counted in 2004.
On Tuesday December 6 two men were killed at a karoke bar in Chinatown. The police idenifyed the two men as Tailang Liu and Linhai Tian, both of the age twenty. These two young men were foreign students from the Chinese border city Shenzhen.
These men were shot several times because of an arguement in the cafe. One of these men died in the hospital while the other man died instantly.
No body was arrested for these murders.
These three people lived a very short life. R.I.P

Hey everyone. Today after lunch in class our teacher Mr. Fisher gave us two pages with different websites. Our class go into partners and we all went to the computer lab. On the sheet we had design comments, information comments, and was it real or fake and why?. After we were done looking at each website we had to fill out each box. A lot of the websites had practicly no colour at all, and the ones with a bit of colour had very few pictures. There was one website about octopuses living in trees, and a lot of the girls in my class believed it and said it was real. When most of the class was done, Mr. Fisher sent us all back to the classroom, and we discussed these as a class. We all voted to see which ones we thought were real and which ones were not real. Once we all discussed and voted for each website,Mr. Fisher told us which ones were real and which ones were fake. It turns out that all of them are fake, a lot of the girls in our class were really shocked to find out that velcro doesnt grow in a crop.
There are people out there that waste their time to make fake websites, to prove to us people that we should not believe everything we read on the internet. The moral of this blog article is not to believe everything we read on the internet.
bye bye for now H.G.

It also gives people a chance to show off their talent. This Christmas concert is tomorrow night!!

Hey everyone! In math we are in the unit of geometry, and angles like supplementry, co-extirior,interior etc. I find those angles hard becasue they are confusing. You look at one of the math questions and it is so confusing because it has all these lines, numbers, arcs and letters!! I hope that that this unit is over soon, or I get some more help with it because I am truly struggling with it.
Over the next couple of days our teacher has assigned us a whole pile of work in math, and we are to do it over the next couple of days. This math is also having to do with those stupid angles. Every stinking page is those angles.
Why couldnt we stick with angles like obtuse, reflex, acute, and right?!

Hey evryone!! The newest electronic game system is the PSP. The PSP comes in a colour choice of black, grey, or silver. In case your wondering a PSP stands for "Playstation Portable." On the PSP you can play all sorts of games, oyu can watch movies, you can listen to music and you can take pictures. The PSP is a good thing becasue watching movies and playing games is required to buy a disc form a store like Wal-mart, zellers, any kind of store liek that. The discs are quite small. Most game discs are between forty and fifty dollars a peice. The movie discs are a bit cheaper, between twenty and forty dollars. The PSP is an entertaining system for people of all ages. The PSP is combining things like, a DVD player, CD player and playstations into one portable legal gadget. Rumours rae that this will be the hottest gadget in 2006, but who knows for sure. Yes, lots of people will have and be hooked on them. Lets just hope people dont get too hooked on them. Put this on your wishlist.
