The Escaping Turkey Welcome, to a very snowy November. We are on a farm, and the farmer is starting to kill all the turkeys, so he can give them to the market. The turkeys all are nervous, because they think they might be next. But there was one that was so nervous; he wanted to run away from that farm! But if he ran, nobody would feed him. The one that wanted to run away was named Gibber. There was only one other place that he could get food at. That place was called the forest. The farm that he lived on wasn’t far from the forest. So he ran to the forest while the farmer wasn’t looking.

When Gibber got to the forest, he knew that he needed to build something to live in. When he was gathering things to build his home, he saw that there was a hunter, hunting for wolves. When the hunter saw Gibber, he saw that he could get a turkey for free. So the hunter started to chase and shoot Gibber. Gibber was trying to go through every obstacle that there was. He was trying to run as fast as he could. As he was running, he saw that there was a huge ditch in front of him so he had to try his luck. He tried to jump over and HE MADE IT. So the hunter tried to jump, but he fell in the ditch. Relieved, Gibber got back to work gathering things to make a house. After he was done building his house, he lived happily ever after.
