My Trip

My family and I went on a historical trip. We went to Gettysburg, Boston, Philadelphia, Lexington, Concord, and Hyde Park. My favorite parts of trip were Gettysburg, Valley Forge, and reading off orders to fire a musket at Lexington and Concord.
I was gone for 8 days. All the places were historical. I liked the reenactors the best that were at Gettysburg. I went to their camp. I got to try on a hat and coat. I think the reenactors at Valley Forge were tied with the reenactors from Gettysburg as my favorite. One was supposed to be George Washington. He was so good.
I liked this trip!

America is special

America is special to me because of the history of America. I like to go to Civil War battlefields and national parks and monuments.
Last year I went to Vicksburg, Shiloh, Stones River, and Chickamauga battlefields. Next week I will be visiting Gettysburg.
When I am there, I get a feeling that blood soaked into the ground at the battlefields. I have feeling of sadness and despair for the soldiers who died but I am proud of what they did so our country would be not two parts but one.

Vacation plan
I am going to sell tickets for a squirt gun fight, it will be big. I’m going on a trip to the east coast. I will start to read a book called the “ The Case Of The Secret Message”. I can’t wait for summer.

Mother's day
I like Mother's day because my dads birthday is on mother's day. So I have to get a present for my mom and my dad. It is a very special for me. My grandpa is coming for my dads birthday. Its going to be the best party ever. My mom is a teacher. She teaches kindergarten. She deserves a nice relaxing day.

WASL
It was hard. Tomorrow it will be math. It was a snap. It is almost the end of the wasl. Today the wasl is over. It was fairly challenging and easy at the same time. The wasl is not such a big deal as it seams it is actually quite easy. I look forward to the next wasl.
