Friday 21st December 2007 was the last day for Mr Harrington at Cefn Fforest Primary School. Mr H is leaving teaching to take up a position training teachers for the International Baccalaureate.
Thanks to all pupils who have been involved in all of our online collaborations over the past 18 months.
Thanks also to those from schools around the globe who have been involved in work with us - it has been a fabulous journey, which I know for many will continue.
To all pupils at Cefn Fforest don't stop blogging - Mr H is going to go on approving blogs posts on ClassBlogmeister for a while yet - at least into January 2008, before handing over to Mrs Prescott - so keep on posting :-)
A BIG GOODBYE from Mr H to all and Thank You for all of your help :-)

We have been exploring the MystIII island over the past few weeks. We are using it for creative writing in addition to investigating a simulated environment - there are some clues on our recent travels and tips for how to move on over at our class blog -

If you haven't given Myst a thought do it is excellent for setting the scene in an alien, but familiar landscape. We are really enjoying our investigation of the weird world of Myst.

This coming half term we will be studying The Tudor kings and queens of England. The Tudor's actually came originally from Wales (yay).
To keep up with the topic and to help with your research work, Mr Harrington has created a blog on the life of King Henry VIII and a research site on The Tudors... now if you want to get your research started early, before we return to school on Monday, why not follow the bottom 2 links on the left hand sidebar (Tudor History and Tudor Research Pages). Let the World Wide Web keep you one step ahead of the crowd :)
By the way there will be merit marks up for anyone who can tell me the royal link to the story of Bonfire Night on Monday 5th November - better still why not post your answers as comments to this post, or post your own blog about November 5th?

I was so excited when I found out I was going to have kudley kiwi over the summer holidays. We had to write reasons why we should have him on a piece of paper the person with the best reasons would have him over the summer holidays. I took kudley kiwi to Salou in Spain we had loads of fun together, he even came to the water park but luckily he did'nt get wet, sadly when we went to take our first picture the batteries were flat in the camera. So when I arrived home I took some photo's then hope you like them.:) Jordan
