Our Class Feild Trip
On our class feild trip we went to Coronach Saskachewan. When we first got there we went to the mine. We had to wear hard hats and some safety glasses. When we went to the mine we saw a Mammoth Tusk and then we went into the confrence room and talked about what the mine does and what the draglines do.
Then we took the bus to the Power Plant (also in Coronach). When we got there we looked at all of the generators that burn the coal to make electricity. We even got to look at the fire burning the coal!
After all of that excitment we went and ate lunch and met our tour guide Tillie Duncan. When we finished eating we started heading to the Sam Kelly Caves. As we came in we drove in the pasture and saw the caves they wearn't very big because they had closed in and were closed off. On the other side of the creak there was a hill called Peak Butte. On the bottom of it there was a barbwire fence on the other side of that was Montana! We went into Montana and took rocks!
Then we went to the Buffalo, and Turtle Effigies and the Spirit Pole then we got ice cream and went home.
