Our Apple Head Dolls on PhotoPeach

Our apple heads have shriveled up and were finally ready to put together. We saw many interesting characteristics in their faces, and made interesting characters to match! Don't you wonder what their stories are?

Our Giants

Since we did not have much luck getting our bean plants to grow, here are the giants we made to measure instead. How are your beans doing in your gardens? Are they growing? Do they have flowers yet?

Amazing Race - Bengough Style

We were divided up into 5 teams. Miss Gauley made up clues for different places in Bengough. We had to find our clues and then read them to figure out where we were supposed to go next. Some of the places we had to go to were the museum, the Coal Mine park, the campground, the swimming pool park, the rodeo grounds, the Car Wash, and the Last Chance Shoppe. We went shopping at the Last Chance Shoppe too and found many things to buy. The Brown team came in first and got to pick the coldest juice boxes!!

We went to the Health Centre. The Health Centre is a long-term care facility and a doctor's clinic. Dick and Fred showed us what was in the ambulances and what it is like to be on a stretcher. Dr. T. showed us some X-rays. Nurse Debbie showed us how they check our pulse and how casts are made. Lori showed us the kitchen, the laundry, and the activity area. We had some cookies and juice as we met some of the residents.

Logan's Turtle on PhotoPeach

Why did the turtle cross the road? Well, it didn't really cross, because it stopped in the middle. Logan's dad found it and brought it home. We think it is a painted turtle. It is a female because it has a flat bottom. Logan's family is going to release it to a dugout.

To celebrate the end of Kindergarten, we went bowling in Ogema. It was fun. Sometimes when Morgan threw the ball, it rolled back to her. We really liked the pretty blue balls. Zander and Morgan tied. We almost knocked down all of the pins. We had a snack and played in the little train park. We gave Miss Gauley a beautiful pot of flowers!

We made flowers. There were many colours to pick from. There was a variety of flowers. We pushed them into a piece of styrofoam to make them stand up. We put grass on the top. It was VERY messy. They look pretty.
