My class had the pleasure of listening to the St. Louis Brass Quintet yesterday. The music was fabulous. I would like to know how much time they spend practicing each week. Any ideas?? Please read our blogs about this event.

"Hello" my name is Jordan Dohrn.
We wacthed the St.Louis Brass Quintette perform. They are really great. This was at Eugene Field. They are also really funny.I hope they come back next year. The St. Louis Quintette was the best. They played Barney,Spongebob and the Simpsons. They did a lot of things. They went to all five schools in two days. They were the best of the best. They were so good I didn't want them to leave. Most of the songs they played we didn't know. Some of the teachers didn't even know. The last song we got to clap to.That is how good they are and what they do.

Today at ten we went to the gym. We got to see the St.Louis Brass Quintet. They preformed for our school. There music is amazing. They played lots of cartoons for us like
RugRats,Simpsons, and SpongeBob Sqarepants. My favorite instrument is the Tuba because it has low notes. My second favorite instrument is the French Horn. They played the Three Stoogies I like that show. They played Happy Birthday for Mr.Sousa because it was his birthday, but with shells. It was cool when they used a pipe to play the French Horn. They played a long pipe to play race horses.

We saw the St.Louis Brass Quintet .Quintet means a piece of music played or sung by five people. They played two trumpets,a french horn,a tuba, and a trombone. They played The Star Spangled Banner. They played La Cooca Roacha. At the end they played the "Saints Go Marching In". I loved it. If you've seen it did you like it?

Today a St. Louis Brass quintet came to our school. They played lot's of songs like Take Me Out To The Ball Game and The Star Spangled Banner.
They had played with different instruments. The brass quintet told us a lot about the instruments.
They had four boys ,and one girl playing the french horn. One of the boys said we were the fourth school they'ed been to.
We got to sing along in some songs. We did Take Me Out To The Ball Game,it was fun.
The school got to listen to the Simpsons theme song. It was cool. At first I didn't know what song it was. That assembly was awesome. The songs were cool without the words.
