We are from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; that's in Western Canada! Saskatoon is a city on the prairies, which means that when you look around everything is very flat!
Though our population is about 230 000 people, if you drive outside the city limits you will see vast distances (kilometres or miles) of wheat, barley and other crops.
Our climate is "continental," which means that it gets really hot in the summer (up to 40 degrees Celsius, or 95 degrees Fahrenheit)and really cold in the winter (up to minus 40 in Celsius or Fahrenheit!).
We are hoping to use blogs to learn a variety of things from classmates and fellow bloggers throughout the world! If you are a student or teacher from another city, province, country, etc. please feel free to participate in any of our blogs. If you like, tell us where you are from and the name of your teacher so that we can write back!
