We are from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; that's in Western Canada! Saskatoon is a city on the prairies, which means that when you look around everything is very flat!
Though our population is about 230 000 people, if you drive outside the city limits you will see vast distances (kilometres or miles) of wheat, barley and other crops.
Our climate is "continental," which means that it gets really hot in the summer (up to 40 degrees Celsius, or 95 degrees Fahrenheit)and really cold in the winter (up to minus 40 in Celsius or Fahrenheit!).
We are hoping to use blogs to learn a variety of things from classmates and fellow bloggers throughout the world! If you are a student or teacher from another city, province, country, etc. please feel free to participate in any of our blogs. About the Blogger
I am a grade 4 teacher at Lester B. Pearson School. I share a classroom with Miss Heggie and teach Physical Education to grades 1 to 7. Miss Heggie is in her second year of teaching. Her favourite activity is Ukrainian dancing. She belongs to a group of dancers that are almost professional! This summer they travelled to Ukraine to perform! Locations of visitors to this page
