We are participating in a holiday card exchange. We have joined with 24 classes around the world. We will be making cards to send to them, and they will be sending cards to us. We will be posting cards here as they arrive. Below is a map showing the schools that are our partners.

The Pilgrims planted 20 acres of corn the first spring. If one quarter of the acres were destroyed in a drought, how many acres were left to be harvested? Explain how you got your answer. You can use counters or draw a picture to help you get the answer. You will need to remember what fraction a quarter is.
