Think about the titles of your articles. Check the left side of this blog and the list of student entries. Which entries encourage you to click on them?

Thanks.

Red dots

Article posted March 30, 2009 at 01:44 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 16193

Alexa is rockin out on the red dots. Part of this is because she has the position of honor at the top of the list. But she has also made several connections through the blogging challenge.

Can you make connections?

Connections

Article posted March 25, 2009 at 12:49 PM GMT0 • comment (2) • Reads 921

I have been trying hard to increase our global connections. I encourage you to check: do you have any comments? Did you respond?

A connection is like a flower; you need to tend to it and take care of it and allow it to grow.

Can you make two connections today and get some red dots on your clustrmap in return?

Blogging Challenge

Article posted March 11, 2009 at 03:02 PM GMT0 • comment (3) • Reads 3958

I'd like to see how many of you will take the Blogging Challenge.  Scroll down in that blog to find out how to register (or just do some of the cool things).  Many of the ideas have been assignments here.  But maybe you are a new blogger and need some help.

Can you make connections?

Today the new blogs should be activated.  Questions at our class blog.

Podcasts

If you made a podcast channel you want to put the code in your "About Me" section so it goes in your sidebar.  It will automatically update everytime you make a new podcast.

If you do this let me know so I can approve the code.

Mid-semester evaluations are being posted.

Good writing so far: Charmaine , Emily

Some of you are giving me very shallow reflective writing.  Give me an entry that teaches the reader something about you, this class, or this subject matter.  Don't be boring and shallow in your writing.

Oberlin Exam

Article posted October 28, 2008 at 03:45 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 5237

Abby wrote a great test. Includes details, the reader knows exactly what she is writing about, and it is easy to read.

Edit your version if needed. Our great writers need to step up.

Edit:
Add Ryan A and Emily to the list.
