Mr. Gonzalez's Science Classes
We have three 6th grade Science classes and two 8th grade Science classes blogging here from the Pacific Northwest in Chimacum, WA! Sixth graders are learning a bit about Mt Saint Helens, environmental science through fresh water ecology, and physical science this year. Eighth graders are learning about life science this year. 1.I love star wars,i also love just about any kind of sci-fi movie and I love horror movie too.

My name is devyn and this is my first blog. I am going to tell you 7 randome facts about me. 1 is i love sports i play football and basketball. 2 is i know alot of werthles things like i diamondback rattlesnakes strike can be up to 1/3 of there bodey length, and a gaboon vipers fengs can be 2 inches long, and a black mamba is the fastest snake in the world.
3 is I love to fish 4 is I like dirt bikeing although I'm not very good at it 5 is I love stake I will never get sick of it I can eat it all day every day 6 is fish stink 7 is I love to play football in the mud and in the snow.

I started my teaching career in South Central Los Angeles teaching in modified to full bilingual 4th and 5th grade classes. Then I moved to WA State where I have taught mainly 6th through 8th grade. I have enjoyed the culture clash but notice that kids are the same everywhere :o)
My areas of interest are science and technology but I also love studying ancient cultures and learning about different peoples and cultures.
Music. I helped pass a bill in Washington State to get more music funding to every school.
