Dear Avenue Bread, March 7, 2007
I am fund raising money for Larrabee Elementary School and I just LOVE your bread! My favorite is your pesto goat-cheese twists. Well, anyway, I was just wondering if you could donate a few bucks (money, not a male dear, although that would be cool). The reason I’d like you to sponsor is because with the money next years 5th graders can go to a wonderful place called Mountain School. At Mountain School you get to sleep under the stars, hike, and become one with nature. So if you could contribute that would be great.
Your hungry customer,
Liam

Yesterday I was reunited with my good friend Plato!!! We had first met 18 years ago when I came to America myself. He was unfortunately deported for a terrible currency loss in which you should ask him about. I ended up marrying a catholic and having 9 children, but I was never quite happy without Plato. I eventually became very grumpy and quiet- until Plato came back!
Now I am willing to play with my offspring and be more social. In fact I even let my beard grow! Everything seems more colourful now, I feel a lot better and Plato made it in to America!

Frogs leaping, hopping joyfully to the next lily pad…Birds twittering, fluttering, singing their peaceful songs to the world…Slipping, sliding, diving penguins rejoice together…These are what make the world go round.

A pencil sharpener would be a bad pet. It would just sit around and rarely be used. But do you want to know what would be a realy bad pet?! A carnivorous pencil sharpener=http://!!
A carnivorous pencil sharpener would not be a good pet because if you decided to sharpen a pencil –WWWERERER-there goes your pencil (and your fingers).

Dear Papa,
I am sorry that it took so long to write back to you. It is very sad that has Mama died of cancer. Thor Haran at the deportation station has been giving me a hard time about letting so many people through. “Business has been to slow lately!” He says. He makes me sick!!! The loyalty oath station has been very busy lately. I am very excited for you to come out to America!
Your son,
Antonioni
P.S. Roads here aren’t really paved with gold.

1.What colors can thay be?
2.What do thay eat?
3.What are their predators?
4.How big do thay get?
5.What is their defense?
I am working with Anya.We are interested in the Pacific tree frog.We will be doing a podcast. We will need a voice recorder.
Look For: A highly variably colored (often green or brown) tree frog with a dark line through its eyes. Usually found on or close to the ground. Call is the well-known "ribbit, ribbit."
Length: 3/4-2".
Habitat: Varied, from grasslands to deserts to forests.
Range: British Columbia and south to California and Nevada.
Not everyone has heard of the Pacific Tree frog, but everyone knows what these creatures say: "ribbit, ribbit." Because moviemakers have put the sound of this common California tree frog into so many film soundtracks, people think that lots of frogs say "ribbit," but only this one does. This tiny frog is found from the coast to mountains 10,000 feet high.
