The Accident
On Dec.16, 2006 my mom, me, and my friend Delaney were driving home from a party down by Sea Tac. The electricity went out but the traffic lights were blinking red. It was our turn to go. Then a car went zooming through and hit us and we went up on two wheels and spun around and went to the other side of the road. When we landed Delaney and I were screaming 'cause the car was steaming in the inside. We thought the car was on fire but it wasn't. We got out of the car and the front of the car was smashed up too. The windsheld the other car was smashed up too. These two nice men came over and helped us. They put us in their warm truck. They called 911 and the ambulance, fire truck, and the police came. The guys that we smashed into were drunk. They got arrested. Delaney and I were shaking for two reasons - one because we were scared, and two because we were cold. We all had our seat belts on and all of us were ok. My stomach kind of hurt. My dad and Delaney's mom and grandpa came to pick us up. My dad came from a Huskies game. We went to the hospital to get us checked out but the line was too long so we went home and went in the morning. My mom just went because her knee hurt. My uncle and cousin came to watch me in the morning. My mom came home in a half an hour. Her knee was fine and we didn't leave the day after the accident because we were scared of the road.
