Latin in Our Lives: mensis horribilis
The September 21st, 2009 issue of The New Yorker Magazine contains an article by Hendrik Hertzberg about recent American politics in which he writes about '...the tea-partying, town-meeting-disrupting, pistol-packing MENSIS HORRIBILIS of August'.
