FUTURE AP English III 2013-2014

Article posted May 7, 2013 at 11:58 AM GMT-6 • comment (14) • Reads 1024

This blog article is for incoming AP students for the 2013-2014 school year, not my current AP students! So current AP students, hands off (please)!!!!

Incoming AP students, I would like your input for selecting our pre-twentieth century novel that we will read over the summer. When you are ready to make your decision for our summer read please click COMMENT in this article. In your comment tell me which book you choose and a brief explanation as to why you want to read that book. I am not basing my decision on the most votes for a particular book but at the reasoning for selecting the book. Your choices: Oliver Twist, Charles Dickens; The Scarlet Letter, Nathaniel Hawthorne; or The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Mark Twain.

To send your comment to me the following three fields are required: your name, your comment, and prove that you're human. ONLY PUT YOUR FIRST NAME AND LAST INITIAL or your comment will not get posted to the blog. Once you click submit, you will get a message that the comment has been sent to me for approval. It will not be posted until I send it to the blog (so don't get nervous if you don't see your comment immediately).

You have until May 17, 2013, to give your input.

I will give you my decision on your summer reading on May 22 at our after school meeting along with the other materials you will need during the summer.

If you encounter any problems with this assignment, feel free to stop by my room (514) or email me (swdieterich@lpssonline.com).
