Title:Because of Winn Dixie

List of characters and brief description of each:
the preacher- Opel's dad also preaches in a old store and lives in a trailer park.
Opel - a 10 year old girl whom her and her ad the preacher moved to a trailer park in Mommie and met a dog in a store and named him Winn Dixie.
Winn Dixie-a dog that was running around in a grocery store and a girl met him and named him Winn Dixie.
Amanda Wilkinson - a girl whose brother had droned and shes always be and has been pinched faced since.
Gloria Dump -an old lady that Opel and Winn Dixie meet and become friends with and she loves to plant flowers and eat peanut and jam sand witches.
Miss Frannie Block- an older lady that owns a library and Opel and Winn Dixie are friends with her as well also she has a terrible fright of bears.
Stevie and Dun-Lap- two brothers who always fight and shaved heads because Dun-Lap had lice.
Also, Stevie and Dun-Lap made friends with Opel and Winn Dixie.
Odis- a man who loves to play the guitar and works at a pet shop called Gertrud's pets.Also he has a pet bird named Gertrud that loves Winn Dixie. Also Opel works at Gertrud's pets.
Sweetie pie Thomas- A five year old girl who wants a dog and still sucks her nu-cal.
Plot/Summary: This story is about a girl that when to get some mac and cheese and two tomato's but instead brought home a dog that she had met in a grocery store and named Winn Dixie. In this story they meet so many new people and made friends with all of them.
Did you enjoy this book? Why or why not?
yes I did because its such a happy and very touching book and i would defiantly recommend this book to everyone!

Facts about smoking
-For every person who dies from smoking or a related disease there are 20 more people who suffer.
- secondhand smoking can also kill people
-smoking increases chance of lung disease
-a single smoke contains over 4,800 chemicals 69 of witch are known to cause cancer
-smoking is the cause of one in five deaths.
my opinions about smoking
-its really bad for your health
-its gross
-many people die from smoking
-second hand smoking is just as bad as smoking
- I hate smoking its gross

Its going good sometimes we get a little off topic but I really like working in a group with my friends and I hope we can a work in groups a few more times this year.
Well one that it has new words in it, its sort of a mystery book and I think its an okay book not my favorite but it good book.
No, I wouldn't because its just not a very good and appropriate book for an 11 year old, plus its a young adult book, Also it talks about the character in the second person.
Yes I'm going for a b because i read the whole book and only have 4 readers responses and one additional project and I'm just about done. Also I think the marking is fair and it does depend on how much effort you put into this.

The Government wanted to sign treaties because they needed the land to build
the First Nations wanted to sign treaties so that they could send their kids to school and get some land .
the pipe ceremony was to honor many First Nations people who participated in it.
the significance of the buffalo at the treaty signing was low .
The Canadians benefit from the land we got from the treaties.
the concept of treaties meant they would lose land but be put on reserves and they would get many things like $5 a year, kids get to go to a school

From the video that I just watched, people have called kids that are special needs retard(ed) And I think all of them feel awful about them self's . Also, one girl felt like it was all her falt that someone called her retard(ed) But really its not their falt that people call them the "R" word.

This story is about a 12 soon to be 13 year old girl named Bethany and her dad that got her and her mom into the car and drove for a long time. When they were done driving, Bethany's dad got out and grabbed her suit case, and dropped her off at an aunt she didn't even know about house and left.
Now Bethany is finding out about all these things like she has a dead sister that died 20 some years ago and she looks just her. And so much more like this imbezzler that just got out of prison and that shes a clone.
The main charactors of the story were Bethany Cole- a 12-13 year old loves to swim,and is staying at her aunt Mirly's house. Mirley- Bethany's aunt that lives in Sanderfield and has Bethany and her 20 year old daughter staying with her. Josslyn aka Joss- Betheny's cousin that's in her late 20s and is a priest.
No I couldn't relate to this story because im not a clone and I'm not at all in a situation like Betheny is.
Yes i liked the book Double Identity.My favorite part of the book was when it all started to come out like about Elizebeth was and how she did die and more....... But I don't want to spoil it for people.
Yes I would recommend this book to everyone! Its such a great book. If I were to give a five star rating...I would give this book five stars!

My favorite video was the never ending garbage can. It was about a garbage can that sounded like a bomb being thrown.And exploded every time you put a piece of garbage in the garbage can. And 72% of the people put their garbage in the garbage can after they heard it they wanted to try it. So mabey a little fun is not bad.

I think animal testing is good for medical and other kind of things that can save someones life like an eppi-pen. But, animal testing is bad for lipstick, eyeshadow, blush and many more cosmetics. If I found out that my favorite product was tested on animals, I would feel terrible that i was using something that animals were tested on.
That's why I think animal testing is good and bad.

Terry Fox ran to find a cure for cancer when he had cancer in his leg. Terry Fox never wanted to give up on finding a cure for cancer but when he did he was forced because he was diagnosed with cancer in his lungs, and in other parts of his chest. When Terry Fox died in 1983 When he slipped into a coma when he was in he hospital.
I think Terry Fox made a huge difference to the world. he will always exist in this wold from then to now to the future. Terry Fox raised $24 million dollars and ran 3339km in 143 days. Today people do a Terry Fox run/walk to support cancer.
