Yes! I have been waiting for this moment the whole year. 7th grade was the best and worst year of my life. First off I'd like to say that what I think was my best moment of 7th grade was on Halloween, when I came to school totally unrecognizable dressed as a lady. My least favorite moment of 7th grade was when we started doing the world history fair. World history fair was the biggest and worst moment of 7th grade. Advice let's see... oh I should tell you DO NOT I repeat DO NOT dress up as a woman on Halloween. for my final blog, farewell.

ITOWNE

I chose Itowne because I think it would be way more fun to write about than the World History Fair. The job I wanted to have was a Game Attendant in Brazil but my job that I got isn't bad. The job I ended up with was an Artisan in Egypt which wasn't that bad. Another reason why I decided to write about Itowne was because it seemed a lot like Young Ameri Town. That is why I wrote about Itowne instead of the World History Fair.

Mandella postcard

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can do to change the world." Knowing who and what Mandella did this is extremely true, him getting arrested for what he stood up for shows the power he has. Who I sent mine to was Mr. Sterk. What I wrote in there was saying that we should have a longer lunch period. I wanted a message to say that we should at least get another five minutes of lunch so kids can eat and go outside. I'd only like to do this since I am guilty of taking to long to eat and then not having time to go outside. That is why we should at least have five more minutes to eat.

A great day

Two days ago we went to a really fun place called I Towne. At I Towne we learned a lot about what others countries culture and religions are like. For example in my country of Egypt, our greeting was "Ahlan" and our thank you was "Shalom" so that was really interesting. If I could change anything at I Towne it would be the size of it, but I know that can't change. I Towne was a really fun experience!

The chicken dissection in my opinion was really fun. Was it worth my while, I'd say yes since it was my first ever dissection, learning about all the tendons and ligaments was what made me really excited. I learned something since I learned that if you pull one ligament it moves, and that the skin on the chicken was really tough to get through. Would I ever consider doing it again... yes!

Little Rock nine by ZACH

After watching the movie the Ernest Green story it got me thinking on how racist and stupid we were back in 1957. It says in the bible that all men are created equal, well clearly in that movie either a. they dont go to church, or b. they don't believe that all men are created equal. If that was me I couldn't do it, I wouldn't have the courage to go on or to not fight back. Those Little Rock 9 were sure to have a lot of courage to take all that discrimination and not to fight back. Have things change I dont think so, I mean there's still racism going on but now people call it "bullying" I don't think that's a proper term for it.

My choice is baseball since baseball is my favorite sport. Since I love baseball I thought I'd right about it, baseball is a very active sport even though some might say not. I like how baseball is the only sport (other than cricket) where you get to hit a ball. I also like how you get to be running a lot during it. Some people think baseball is not active but I disagree since you are running around for the whole time. That's why I chose baseball as my top choice.

The choice I'd like to talk about is the poem that I'd been studying. The poem was about something that I really like and that's baseball. Why baseball was my choice was because baseball is my passion. I've been playing baseball ever since I was a young kid. Baseball is my favorite sport because I love to get out and run. I've also been playing in a baseball league since I was 7. Also, baseball is something I sign up for about every year. I know people don't think baseball is that physical but it is. Anybody who wants to judge me on this come talk to me. I'd love to be told how nonathletic baseball is! Yes, I am being sarcastic. Baseball is my choice and why I picked that poem is because... well read the poem and you'll find out why.

Cells are really small,
Some are shaped like a ball,
Cells are both good and bad,
The bad ones make me mad,
The nucleus is the brain,
I'm glad they don't go insane,
Everything that's living has cells,
A part inside is like gel,
poetry is just like this stuff,
you just can't get enough

I think our group did really good Everything got done, I hope. I consider myself the motivator to our group because I was the one saying, "I picked the poem and I gave us each parts lets do this." If their was one thing that our group could have done better at was the communication piece. I checked my wiki and basically the PBMS kids were talking about other stuff. Although, I'm not going to chew them out completely, one of our PBMS kids found the poem that we did. Our group did really well with just a few small errors but other than that this was a great group.
