I will be contributing to our group the politics part of the presentation. I have learned that in the Renaissance Time Period politicians were scared of chaos so they were very strict about people having to stay in their class. Francis Bacon was a English politician who became part of the House of Lords from Cornwall and was also a lawyer. Niccolo Machiavelli was very influential back then. Bankers were often under threat of assassination and wore armor under their clothes. Florence had a republic government until the Medici family took over the government but was overthrown again. The Renaissance Time Period was a good time for government and politics because people in Italy at the time were very rich and had lots of influence.
