hi. these r some things that i do for the holidays at christmas. when i get up on christmas morning i open my presents and then head over to grandmas house for a BIG christmas breakfast. we enjoy pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs, toast and jelly, biscuits, omlets, coffee, hot chocolate, chocolate milk, orang juice, fruit, hashbrowns, chicken minis and orange salad. we also go christmas caroling with a friend of ours around her neighborhood. there's also something that we do at our church, called a candlelight service. we light candles and sing christmas carols, eat the Lord's supper at church. we dress up pretty and go sing ALOT. sometimes we go to the billy graham library with some friends, or go to the Biltmore home in the mountains. my favorite part of the holidays is to invite people over for a HUGE christmas party either at my house, or at grandmas. the last few years we've went to the resting home to recite luke chapter two out of the bible, to old people. we also hold a big piano recital at our church that me, Sam, Kerri, and a few poeple at our church are involved in. we play some christmas songs and some other songs that we know. this yeqar, i'm looking forward to playin gthe entertainer, by scott joplin at the recital. this yeaer, we are going ice skating with a friend of ours. we also take a family picture and make it into a card to send to friends and family every christmas. wether it's at duke gardens, the mall, near the christmas tree, outside in our backyard, or some other random place, we always enjoy taking a picture for the holidays. happy holidays!

Hi! I'm doing my blog on France and their holiday traditions. They do some things like we do and some things differently than we do. For instents, their garland is only golden and silver. Their holidays begin on St. Martin's day and in on january 6th, with the feast of Epiphany. The yule log is a tradition that started in the rural areas of France cin the 12th century. The family or group of people go out into the woods to pick out a family Christmas tree and then cuts it down. Then they bring home a GIGUNTUS yule log and lay it in the fireplace after they circle around the room three times. They then pour a glass of wine, oil and sal ton the yule log. They offer prayers and sing christmas carols. ( FYI, the yule log is lit now. ) incase you're wondering, that's a Christmas in France=http://

Hi again! i learned that making projects involves teamwork, conversation, editing and LOTS of creation! The main problem with probably all of us is that we needed to tream up more and talk more. critcal friends is the best way to--#1: Feel good about the part you're making by "warm commets" and #2: Knowing to think about a part that you might have trouble on by "cool commets".

Hi! I'm Shelby! First I want to share a few facts about me: I am a really funny person once I get to know my classmates, and a really nice and fun-to-hang-around-with person. I love to draw, laugh, dance, and have LOTS of fun! I also love horses. My favorite TV show is the Andy Griffith show, and my favorite movie is "What about Bob?" My favorite colors are noen green and bright blue. My Story: I was adopted when I was 5 years old because my mom died of a heart attack. After that, My sister, Kerri and I moved in with our Grandparents. My Aunt and uncle knew that wasn't going to be the best choice for me to live with my grandparents. So, my Aunt and Uncle adopted my sister and I so that I could be in the the best home possible, and to give there Daughter a sister. Now I live with a family of 5: My mom and dad, Heidi and Trey, my two sisters, Kerri and Samantha, and my dog named Daisy. If I wouldn't have gotten adopted, I wouldn't be as healthy and I wouldn't have a good school like Voyager to go to! -Shelby
