For christmas break i'm going to New York and i get to go to my grandmas house. We have to rent a big truck and hopfuly i get to play my playstation 3 in the car and on the dvd player.It takes 10 hours to get to New York.after christmas i might go with my grandma to Florida.I enjoy christmas because christmas is not about reicving it is about giving.But the best part about christmas is that  your around your loved ones.

The Christmas season in Mexico begins on December 16th. The decorations for the trees in Mexico are red and white pointsettias and regular candles.The houses in Mexico are decorated with flowers,evergreens,and colored paper lanterns. The pesebre are displayed in houses. The Pesebre are three figures that makes up the holy family or the entire Bethlehem. Each night the procession honors the journey of Mary and Joseph and their search for a place to stay. In some villages, people gather together each night carrying candles, going fom house to house, and singing songs. When the procession is over, they go home and pray. After prayers, there is a Fiesta,party and children break a pinata. The pinata has nuts, candy, and fruits.

 My biome that I have is the prairie. One organism in my biome is  a prairie dog it's brown and its prey is anything that trys to harm him or her. Another organism in my biome is a buffalo. Buffaloes are brown and tan. There prey are lions.The last organism in my biome is a jack rabbit and jack rabbits are brown tan. There prey are red tailed hawks. I would like to visit the prairie because you get to see all the different animals and you also get to visit all the extraordinary and unique places.

I learned that planning is very important when your doing a project. If you don't plan, your project work will come out as a mess. I think the project is easier if the people you connect to is working with you. I think Critical Friends is  helpful because it gives you ideas about how to make your monster part great. I learned that when you are a Critical Friend, you're helping someone else think about how they are going to make their part better. The warm comment makes them feel proud of what they did. 

The two monster parts that I was assigned are Head and the Toe Nails but the discription for the Toe Nails did not come in. So, I'm going to do the the description for the Head. It is  peanut-shaped, 26 in tall, 14 in wide at top & bottom, 10 in wide in middle, red, slimy, and scar-covered.The class who is doing the Head is Mrs.Berkman's class in Durham, North Carolina.The class that is doing the Toe Nails does not say anything about where they live or anything about the teacher's name.The parts that the Head connects to are ear,hair,eyes,nose,neck,and mouth.
