Christmas in France begins November 11 and ends January 6. Kids open boxes on their Advent calendar everyday until Christmas. They also put shoes near the fire for Pere Noel to give them presents if they were good. This is like our stockings. Parents trade gifts on New Years Day. Pere Noel has a helper. He watched kids to see if they are good.

The name of my biome is the woods. One organism I learned about was the flying squirrel. It leaps from tree to tree with his flaps of skin between his arms and legs. The second organism is the robin. It is just the same as any other bird but it has red on the front of its body. The third organism is the ovenbird. It has black and white stripes on the front of its body, and tannish brown on the rest. We live in the woods and I play in the woods, so I kinda already have visited the woods.

One thing I learned was how to collaborate with others. We helped each other on our parts. We had a lot of fun. I wish we could do it again.

My MONSTER parts are the jet ski and the nose.NOSE/came from England, Miss Alder's first grade class at ST. Oswald's Primary School. The description of the nose is long, purple, pointed nose with massive hairy nostrils and lots of red dots. The nose also has lots of disgusting green snot dripping out of it. JET SKI/ came from Louisiana, Tina Fink, 5th grade math and science, Our Lady Queen of Heaven School in Lake Charles. The description is four feet long; 1.5 feet wide; gold and purple body; crinkly or crumply texture; black handle bars 5 inches long and 2 inches wide; blue streamers 18 inches long on each handle bar. Parts that will connect for the nose are the nose ring and the head. The Jet Ski will connect to the hands and the feet.

Two things I learned are Evel Kneival broke 433 bones, thats a record and he was born in Butte, Montana.
The wonder word I used is icon. The definition is you represent something. An example is Evel Knieval was an icon for daredevils and other people.
