Students will research one animal of their choice and share on their blog pages what they have discovered about that animal. They will tell about the animals habitat, what they eat, and three interesting facts about it.

Today we read the book Giant Panda, by Kira Freed. It was a very informational nonfiction book. We learned many new and interesting facts about these extremely endangered animals. They have always been one of my favorite wildlife animals and I enjoyed reading this with the class. I would like each of my students to please leave a comment to share with our visitors that come to our blogs what each of you enjoyed learning about these amazing animals as we read today.

I chose this book because of the summary on back of the book. It sounded like the story characters would have many fun adventures and I enjoy reading adventure stories.
