Mr Lewis came in to do forensic science. My finger prints were: 1 arch, 2 whorls and 7 loops. I really enjoyed doing the finger prints.
Facts
1. That arches were the rarest finger print.
2. That loops were the most common finger print.
3. That the lines on our fingers are actually scars.
4. That forensic investigators use finger prints to solve crimes and mysteries.
5. Everyone has different finger prints, including twins.

A9 Assembly

Our assembly was about the Olympics. My role in the assembly was the stopwatch person. This is my lines about Jesse James “Jesse James was an American African athlete. He competed in the berlin Olympics in 1936. He won four gold medals. On the first day of the Olympics Hitler shook hands with only the German and white athletes and left the stadium. He deliberately avoided acknowledging the competing black athletes. Jesse died on March 31st 1980 by smoking cigarettes. Jesse was an outstanding athlete fighting against racism.” The part I enjoyed the most was the part where I said “Jesse was an outstanding athlete fighting against racism”, and I didn’t dislike anything. How could I have improved? To me, I think I could have improved by reading slower and made of hands gestures.

Queenie

Queenie is an elephant that was captured in India by hunters. She was brought to a zoo in Melbourne, Australia. She was 9 years old when she first started carrying passengers around the zoo. Queenie has a keeper called Mr Parsons. Some school boys would tease her with food showing it to her and taking it back and stick pins in her trunk. Queenie went away and she took dirty water that she used to bathe in and squirt them with it. One day the zoo got a merry-go-round and the children thought Queenie would get jealous of it and they wrote letters telling her how much they loved her. Then one day Queenie was walking with her other keeper Mr Wilfred Lawson. He bent down to pick something up and seconds later he was crushed by Queenie. A few days later Queenie the gentle elephant was destroyed.

Three ways to use capital letters:
1. The first way to use capital letters is at the beginning of a sentence. E.G We went to the park on the weekend.
2. The second way to use capital letters is for proper nouns. E.G I resenting went to America.
3. The third way to use capital letters would for a title of something. E.G The book is called Wolves of the Beyond Shadow Wolf.

English
In my english I think I should get a B, because I think that I write fairly good predictions, questions and clarifier in my reciprocal reading. My strengths would be writing good predictions, questions and clarifier in my reciprocal reading. My weakness would be not writing really good summaries in my reciprocal reading. My only target would be to write a better summary in my reciprocal reading,
Maths
In maths I think I should get a B, because I understand what Mrs Taylor teaches me and I am able to do that work she gives me. My strengths is when Mrs Taylor gives times tables or division questions. My weakness would not being able to finish some of my work. My targets would be to finish my work more and to make sure it is neat.
