I chose to write a poem on the colourful running shoes on wires article. I've passed under the bridge on Wellington several times and have always wondered what the reason behind the shoes were. As I said, I changed the form from article to poem which naturally changed the purpose, context and audience. I chose to write a poem based on the article because I used to be an avid poem writer in highschool and wanted to have my hand at it again. The poem itself is quite simple but it does pull quite a bit from the article.
