The course was very much the same as my initial impression, It was very relaxed but excellent pacing in the work load! You were a great teacher ! I had fun in the class and I ultimately I learned how to properly write an essay( although I still need to get better at it !). My goals were kind of interupted by my health issues, the doctors appointments have interfered with the class attendance, and being constantly sick is not particularily helpful. I however have tried my hardest to get my assignments in and keep up with the work.I really wish we could have done more on analyzing song lyrics , that was my favorite part just because I adore figuring out what songs may mean and that sorta thing! I really didn't like the essay writting only for the fact that it is my personal week spot in english.

The things I like about writting essays are finding out information on the topics , I love researching ! I like being able to choose what source or even what topic I am going to choose for the essay.I dislike writting the works cited page because its very time consuming!

I was particularily interested in the fact that just anyone can go on and add information to wikipedia without authorization or even any reputable facts!

I need to work more with my essay writting ability , I have never been good with puncuation and my school wasn't one that really focused on it. So being able to correctly use grammar and puncuation would be what  I'd need to focus on. Also idea planning ,because I have too many ideas that I want or could write about but I tend to re-write things over and over again. Revising my work would also be an area I need work in or at least showing I've revised it. I don't tend to make rough copies , I usually write and erase repeatedly until I get out perfectly(to me atleast) what I am trying to say.

I really have no issue with group work. I feel it's nice to bounce ideas off others and see their opinions , ideas , and feelings towards the material given.

Music has a tendency to take emotion and swirl it into a colorful vibration that hits people directly in the heart. The ability to communicate your words and have it to connect to a vast audience of different souls . Not only are the lyrics a pivatol point , but the music as well. The go to source of inspiration for most , music carries itself on the ocean of our minds.

In my opinion this lyric means that someone is looking for their dreams , that thing that makes them tick and feel truly happy , because they lost it some where. Maybe they lost it because they went through some tough things , I believe that is what the broken shards of glass from the broken light bulb means. The filament is something that needs to work if its gonna bring light , without it , you gotta be strong and keep your life going hence the " lit the life you want" line.

So an interesting sentence I have heard in a song is by Matthew Good . The songs called Alert Status Red and the lyric goes like this

" In the wilderness the only place to find freedom is in the dictionary ,under F."

I chose this lyric because I love the meaning behind it and the song itself as a whole but I personally feel this sentence is extremely relevant and kinda funny as well as true.

The lyrics I used  talks about how we are told  we are free as people , but in truth we arent exactly free, even in the wilderness where we are supposed to be absolutley "free" were still not. Our society is to wrapped up in materialistic items that we've lost all respect for nature and it's beauty as well as the fact we are wearing blinders to what is really corrupt and wrong in our society. That freedom is no longer a real thing other then a word in the dictionary.

I have used my awarness of language to make my writting more interesting to read. I can make connections to the world around me and to my own personal experiences , I am becoming more able to develop my ideas efficiently. I will continue to work on my skills to make my writting better !

I'm not to sure how having no internet would affect my life,I suppose it would be relatively hard to not have it as a necessatie.I didn't have the internet until I was around 12 so I know what it is like to not have it around, I kinda miss the simplicity of being able to discover my own information through reading or whatever , now it's a click away and although that is wonderful in it's own; I feel like I'm essentially getting too much information that I don't need to have! I think my life would be perfectly good without being brainwashed by a computer!

I prepared for the assignment by thinking about the piece I was going to do a poster about , how I felt about the issue that discussed and then tried to translate that the very best I could onto my poster. I drew a brain in a jar on a shelf , to me that symbolized how we are putting are brains away on to a shelf like we do with books , to get dusty and leave untouched. The second picture is a brain connected to a monitor and computer because we have now missplaced our brains with another artificial intelligence instead of gaining our own intelligence through learning !I think i did a very good job presenting , I am very good at getting my thoughts across in a logical way that people can understand and then form their own oppinions on .  To improve myself I will speak more fluently without pausing to think about my next train of thought,

One of the instances where I use critcal , creative , and constructive thinking is in school. We are required to look at articles from every angle. We break down the different pieces of the articles and figure out our own opinions of them. When asked to write , the creative aspect is very much needed; to just write something plain and detail less is not grabbing to the audience. Constructively making the work into a different form or writting something on your own.

I choose the article about the sneakers hanging from power lines , I changed it to a song instead of an article . The audience also changed. I choose to change the form to a song because I like lyrics more then articles.

My first impression of this class is that its very laid back and calm, this makes it very easy to learn because the stress has been removed from the schooling. The building is very close to where I live which makes it super easy to attend . The teacher seems very easy going and down to earth! I know a couple of people in my class, so for me thats good. The course out line is easy to understand.This semester  I will make sure I complete all assignments given to me , uncompleting them or not handing them in is my biggest down fall.

The Foo Fighters are my absolute favorite band in the world! They are amazing, every song and album is pure musical genius! Dave Grohl's lyrics are stunning , and his voice is god like.  Some excellent songs by them are Everlong, The Best of You, and Arlandria. Take a listen if you havent already heard them
