If I was principal for a day ...

If I was principal of Springdale School for the day the first thing I would do is employ a person to cover the duties of the teachers so that they can have their lunchtimes and morning teas to catch up or have a rest. I would have a compulsory art lesson every afternoon and school singing 3 afternoons a week. I would put a coffee machine with its own coffee person in the staffroom and have baking lessons at school for all the kids and teachers by a professional chef.

Anna Forensic Scientist

Last week we had an interesting visit from Anna a forensic scientist. It was interesting listening about her job and the interesting cases she's been on. Anna answered our many questions and now we know some facts that will help us during our 'Who Dunnit' Inquiry. We are building up personal profiles with our own distinguishing features and self portraits on them.

Today we have made a great start to Term 2. Students are researching about the ANZACs and are making PowerPoint presentations tomorrow. They have been shown this blog page and given their passwords so we look forward to reading their written work in the near future.Get blogging Room 1!!!
