Baking.

Last Tuesday we made a cookie. We did some baking for science. We made biscuits and I put flour and sugar in. I gave it a mix. We had to put condensed milk in. We brought our spoon and bowl. I felt happy. I put designs on the cookie. I made a letter. I tasted it. My Dad had a taste and he liked it.

Our School’s on Fire.

When our school was on fire, we walked to the big field and the alarm went off. It made a noise, “Evacuate the building. Go to the nearest fire exit.” There was crashing timber and bursting flames. People were choking and they were sad. Trees were falling down. Some people were dead and some people were safe.

Science Expo.

In the hall we went to see scientists. They talked about hot and cold. Jacob rode the scooter. They froze the ball in liquid nitrogen. If you touched it, you will probably get burnt.

My Holiday.

In the holidays I went to Rainbow Fairy Springs. I went to the bird show and the man got a Macaw out. His name is Richie McCaw. I touched the lizard’s skin. It felt funny. I went on the big waterfall. I went down and then there was a big splash. We went to the cafe and ate lunch. We fed the donkey and went to Mum’s work.

Sports Day.

Yesterday it was Junior Sports Day. My favourite activity was Waitawa Bush. We had a paddle in Waitawa Bush. Arama threw big sticks in. They floated. The tricky thing was when Arama kicked the big soccer ball over my head. Then I scored a goal. Then it was morning tea. After morning tea, we went back to finish.

Run Bike Run.

Today, there was the Run Bike Run. I was in the lead. My mum and dad, and my brother were cheering for me. I was puffed but I kept on going. It was real fun. Then I got on my bike and I pedalled to the other side of Neil Hunt Park. Then I had to jump through the tyres and I crawled under the net, then it was the finish line. I was fourth. Also I had an ice block. It was yummy. It was a really long way. Raphael passed me and I passed Wyatt. But Wyatt passed me on his bike.

I got some Adidas rugby boots for my birthday. My Mum got them from Rebel Sports. My Dad got me some headphones too. I listened to music. My Nana came to my birthday. After school we went to the gondolas. There was a cake for me. That was cool. We were tired today after a big day. We went home.

My birthday is this Saturday. I am going to have a Star Wars party. The people that are coming are Wyatt, Flynn, Raphael and Miles. We are going to the Star Wars movie. Then we will come back for food. I will have a cake. We will play games. I will get a gun. It will be big. We will have fun.

Mr Lund is a teacher. He comes from Gisborne. He likes teaching. He's in Room 7. He is in a class. He has kids in his classroom and he laughs a lot. He also teaches other teachers new things too. He goes on duty. He has meetings. Of course he teaches kids.

Christchurch Earthquake.

When the earthquake happened, all the people ran away. The buildings smashed. People died. It wasn't nice. Some people got under tables and some people still survived. That was nice. Not all of the people were okay. We should raise money so they can fix buildings.

My Dad's name is called Graeme and my Mum's name is Abby. My brother's name is Christian. I am five. My brother is two. We like going on holiday to Australia. We like going for swims. We like having dinner. There is a big pool. We stayed in the flashest room, two times.
