Our class is a group of Year 2 children from Rotorua, New Zealand. The children are mainly 6 and 7 year olds. We live amongst volcanic craters, boiling mud pools and steaming geysers.

Junior Sports Day.
Yesterday it was Junior Sports Day. We did a sack race. Then we filled the bucket up with water with a tiny cup. Our team won. We went to Waitawa Bush. Then the children and I went into the water. We went on the playground. Then we threw the balls in the hoop. We jumped in the hoops. I felt hot. My favourite thing was the sack races. I won. Next we did hockey. Finally it was morning tea time. I was useless at shooting hoops. The tricky part was throwing the bean bag in the hoop.
