Last Tuesday for mixing, we were making biscuits. First we put in butter. Next we put in condensed milk. After that we mixed it. Then we put in flour. A little while after that we rolled it into a ball. Then we made it round like a pancake. Finally we put a button in it. Then really finally, we cooked it. Then I ate it. It was really yummy.

When our school’s on fire the alarm goes on. Quick, go up to the big field. My friends and I were scared. We thought that the building was collapsing and fire spreading all about. Then we walked fast. Then the teachers called out the names. We got a play in the big field. Then my friends were really scared because we were in the front row. After a while it got a bit bigger. Then it burst into bits. Then people were screaming and crying as hard as they could. It was like a volcano and I could smell smoke. Smoke was everywhere, all in the buildings. I was very scared.

Last Tuesday we went to Scion in the hall. They taught us about science. One thing was, when you put a balloon in liquid nitrogen, it would start to get smaller. And when you take it out for a little while, it will start to blow up again. Then they put a banana in liquid nitrogen for a little while. When you hammer it, it will smash into pieces.

On the weekend I went to soccer. When we got there I had red spots on my tummy. They were chickenpox. Then when I got home my ear was really sore. I was screaming so we went to the doctor. After I got a lollipop. Then I got yucky medicine. After the medicine, I got orange juice. Then I had a little nap.

My Holiday.

On the holidays I went to a Hotel and when it was night, all my five boy cousins came. Their names were Ollie, Max, Louis, Harry and Oliver. I saw people I haven't seen before. I don't really know the names. But I know one name, Lindy. She was nice. She had a really big caravan as big as four classrooms. She even had a coffee machine. It has five bedrooms. It was really big. We went to the Big Splash. We went down the rollercoaster. We fed the fish and we saw swans and we saw real Kiwis. They were babies. Then we went to the gift shop. I got two rubbers and they were smelly rubbers. Then we got an icy pop. The flavour was blueberries and orange. After, we played in the playground.

Junior Sports Day.

Yesterday it was Junior Sports Day. When we got there, I was number six. When I started, we all started with the big parachute. When it was my turn to go under the parachute, I was excited. We went to the Waitawa Bush. Then after that we went to the playground. I went down the slide fast. Then I slipped down the bridge with my bottom. Soon after that we did running races. We even did hula hoop races. After that it was sack races. That was the hardest thing for me to do. Soon it was hockey. That was my favourite thing.

Today it was Run, Bike, Run and the whole class went. When I got to the Run, Bike, Run I was excited. When it was nearly our turn I was happy, but when it was our turn I was even more happier. When I got to the net I didn’t get through good enough. When I got to the finish line I passed Katana. I felt tired after that. Then I got an icy pop. The colour I got was green. It was yummy.

Yesterday I went into Waitawa Bush and when I went into Waitawa Bush there was a little waterfall. We went on the little bridge, so we had to get in one line. Then we saw the trees had climbing ropes and we climbed on the climbing ropes. When we were going back we also saw a tree with bark hanging down on the tree. But we didn't swing on the bark. If we swung on the bark we would hurt ourselves. That wouldn't be good.

We like mathematics and we are liking reflection. We like writing lots of things. After we come in from morning tea some Mums and Dads are coming to see our work. But my Mum and Dad can't. But I don't care, and I hope they like my work.
