We love to laugh and play
When I am at her house we love to stay fun-eh
We dance around the house
Like cats and dogs and a little mouse
We play our favorite sports
Volleyball, soccer all in our shorts
We tease each other with love
We like to give each other hugs
But at the end of the day
We both have to say
Goodbye and we have to be left
For me and Rama are bff’s

Imagine a world around you full of people not going to school in the morning, just hiding under their blankets waiting for the day to end. All because that one person called them “Loser” on the last day of school or they got told on “Facebook” that they were ugly. Well that used to be me; I know how it feels to be treated like your no one. It all happened in the third grade when my mom took me to the eye doctor and he told me I needed glasses. My mom had picked out the bright lime green ones that had brown polka dots. The next day I went to school not knowing how people would think of me. It so happens that all my friends ignored me and along came Jesse the school’s captain of the football team and he told me I looked like a “mole”. From that day on I walked home from school thinking what will happen tomorrow. When I got home mom said “how did it go honey” I said “fine” and she let it go. Finally she came up to my room and I told her the whole story.
From that day on I never got bullied again. So think next time, if your being bullied it’s fine to speak up. You won’t get in trouble. Speak up in anyway, to a parent, a friend, a grandparent, a teacher anyone would be happy to help.

TOP 8. The book that I am currently reading TOP 8. It is about a girl who is on a social website that gets hacked while she goes to the Galapagos Island for spring break. Whoever broke into her FRIENDVERSE told all of her friend’s secrets and pictures of her and she says that she is happy to break up with her boyfriend Justin! He sees that and he breaks up with her. Then she meets her friends at their favorite coffee shop with her friends Ruth, Schylar and Lisa because she wants to explain to them that her account was hacked she didn’t do it. They don’t believe her at first but then they change their minds and they become best friends. They next mission is to find out who did it.

The colors of a rainbow are spectacular
Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet
Red is for the color of ketchup
Orange is for the color of orange peelings
Yellow is for the color of the brightly shined sun
Green is for the color of the freshly cut grass
Blue is for the color of the deep, wide sea
Indigo is for the color of my favorite T-Shirt
Violet is for the color of freshly bloomed petunias
Now that you know all of the colors of a rainbow, you can shine as brightly as the stars in the moonlight

SCORE! As the buzzer rings and we begin to dog pile the announcer says 10-7 Home followed by the hollering screams of excitement. The wind blows your hair across your face as you skate around the rink as fast as you can.
On my way out to the dressing room doors for intermission, I glace at my parents who are always seated right next to the penalty box on the right side of the rink. They always smile and give me thumbs up.
As I skate back onto the ice for 3rd period I stare at the audience while I step off of the boards and I trip and hit my head on the side of the boards. I woke up to the blurry site of bold lettering “vote for Yuvon Godin on the boards next to me. “What happened?” “How long was I passed out?” I say to myself. No one answered back!
Then the next I noticed was my parents, they were standing right next to me screaming out to everyone “call for help please someone”!
Finally the ambulance arrived at the rink. They told my parents to meet them at the hospital. When they arrived at the hospital they told my parents that I hit my head hard, I had got a concussion and one of the effects could be that I blinded myself.
After 3 hours I was laying on my bed listening to music and all of a sudden I went blind. I couldn’t see anything, it was all white. I could talk but I was in so much shock that I screamed “MOM”! I was only thinking of one thing, could I ever play hockey again? I was going to sit there forever thinking what will do with my life now?
Today was the day that I hockey was starting, I wasn’t going to be there because of my insecure blindness. I had an idea. I was depressed about not playing hockey so I decided that I would like to learn to play excellent hockey blind. I asked my mom but she said “I don’t think that is possible” she also said “who is going to teach you, you would need a certain coach to help you out!”
The next day we were searching for a coach, no one would help us out. They thought that it was impossible to teach someone who is blind to learn how to play hockey. I told them I will show them that it is possible but no one would listen. Then finally we found one girl her name is Clarissa. She is excellent with any age young-adult. She said we will start tomorrow.
Today is the new tomorrow. The first thing that she did was she tried to get me used to the size of the rink so I would not skate into the boards. Then she was teaching me how far away the net was from the boards of each angle. She was telling me that our team was going to be playing at play-off soon and if don’t learn how soon I won’t be able it help at it.
As the next day approaches it is a Saturday so we meet at the rink at 9:30am. It is now time to learn how to shoot the puck into the net. I scored on my 13th try. She was so proud of me, my parents were proud and my older coach Mr. Simons.
Mr. Simons had an idea after that night so he called up my parents and said to them “ Tomorrow we have regular hockey practice with the whole team, do you think that Allie will be ready and want to try to play hockey” my mom said : sure let’s give it a try”. She told me about it that night and I wasn’t too sure if I would have liked to but I would try it anyway.
I tried it and I loved it, I was going to try every practice that I would. I was so happy to hear my friend’s voices again.
We made it to finals and we won so now I answered my question, yes I can play hockey blind. Now I know I can still do stuff with my life!

Unexpected Death
I remember that moment perfectly. As the cab driver turned the car over, my brown hair was covering my sparkling blue eyes so that I couldn’t see. Then I awoke in the hospital with a breathing tube coming out of my nose and x-rays of my brain showing on the hospital monitor. In a low tense voice the doctor gives his sympathies for the passing of my parents. My life was changed forever.
As the next few days passed I was living at my aunt’s house and I thought about my parents 24-7. That day I decided to start my own journal and write down all my thoughts so they weren’t stuck with me for the rest of my life. Crying inside my head just lead to throwing the biggest tantrums and an aching headache all day.
Today was the day of my parent’s funeral. I cried so much I don’t think that I have any water left in me. All of my relatives were here. I was happy to see them all but I knew the reason they were here was for my parents. After the funeral was the burying at the grave yard and I cried there too. Then we headed back to my aunts place to eat supper and dessert (ice cream).
My heart is broken forever! I miss them so much and I think of them all the time even though I have my diary. My aunt is really helpful.
I started school again today. I got back and I received so many “I’m sorry” cards and “my sympathies to you”. It almost made me cry but my best friend Tommy-Jacob was there to cheer me up. He has been my best friend since 3rd grade. He is short and the geeky glasses type.
I am never going to get over the death of my parents and I will always love them with all my heart. I’ll be fine for the rest of my life.
I am now 30 years old and I have a job as a Superior Middle School, blue team teacher. I am also married to Cole who I met in college (also a teacher) and we have 1 child (Mitchell). I love my family.
