1. During the first period of Roman expansion, the Romans took over what?
The Romans took controlled all of Italy.

2. How did Rome's expansion affect the plebeians?
The plebeian were affected by always fighting for them. They had to fight for them all the time for like years and years at a time. And they had to do this for 3 times because there were 3 expansions.

1. In the Roman Republic, Patricians were referred to as?
Patricians were known as the most powerful had the most power! And the "Father of the State"

2. Why were the plebeians unhappy when the Republic was first set up?
When it was first set up the Plebs had NO power at all they just had to fight and do stuff for the Patricians.

They were neighbour nations. All of south Italy and Sicily were greek colonies.

2. If you were an ancient Greek and traveled to Rome, what might you see that was familiar?
If I traveled there I would see arches, chariots,statues and bridges.

Alexandria was the most populated and one of the most powerful city-state in Egypt. Alexandria has super great wealth. Also great trade because they were on the edge of the Mediterranean Sea, so it had easy access.

Woman in Sparta and Athens were treated every different from each other. Like the women in Athens were not aloud in the city's they would just have to stay home and take care of the kids and house (ect.). Then with the women in Sparta were aloud to fight in wars and leave there home and come into the city.And,Sparta women were like pretty much treated just like the men were.

Life for little boys in Sparta was hard. The boys started at age 7 had to train to be soldiers. Then also had to train to be quite and not to complain about anything.

The Aristocrats overthrown the king and took power by themselves.
They formed a Oligarch.

That means they take power for themselves.
