A young boy in Ancient Sparta would usually be told to steal. If they were hurt they would remain silent, if they got caught stealing they would be punished. Their childhood consisted of training to later work in an army for the government or they would die at a young age. They usually died due to starvation or being over worked.

The people of Greece used to believe in many gods. the gods controlled many different things like Zeus was the god of all gods. The Romans also used these gods and goddesses and religion but used different names. Zeus was I think Pluto. The god of the oceans is Neptune or Posiden.
