The Romans adopted Greek culture and changed how that built their buildings and religion from the Etruscans. traders and Greek who cam to Rome and colonists who settled towns in southern Italy and the island of Sicily.

1. Spartan women could own property and Athens women could not own property.

2. Spartan women could marry who they wanted and Athens women could not marry who they wanted.

3. spartan women could leave the house without their husbands and the Athens women could not leave the house alone, had to manage the home and educate the children.

they had to take physical pain without complaining. They were not fed real good so they were encouraged to steal food when ever they could without getting caught.At the age of 20 spartan men were given the task of fitness,military ability,and leadership skills.They were considered Spartan soldiers and full citizens after they passed the test.they lived in the barracks until age 30.Then they can live with their families and their service continues.
