 Information Report Introduction Sir Peter Jackson is a famous New Zealand movie maker. He has made many famous New Zealand movies. Early Life Peter was an only child. He grew up at Pukerua Bay near Wellington. He was born 31st of October 1961. When Peter turned 8 friends of his family worked at the Kodak camera company. So they gave him an 8mm movie camera for his 8th birthday. This is how he got making movies. Career In 1978 Peter got his first job as a photo engraver for the local newspaper. Over the years Peter has worked in a total of 23 movies. He has directed 11 movies and produced 13. Movies he’s most famous for are Lord of the Rings, Tin Tin, King Kong, Heavenly Creatures, District 9 and Rise of the Planet Apes. Family In 1992 he married women called Fran Walsh. He has 2 kids called Billy 8 and Katie 7. His dad was in World War 2. Peter’s Parents died before they could see his creation of the Lord of the Rings series. Achievements Peter has had knighthood. He has won many awards. Altogether he has won 22 awards. Sir Peter Jackson is a famous New Zealand. His movies are famous and are all over the world.
