I am poem

I am creative, beautiful and kind.
I am the first daughter of the third daughter.
I am one of three.
I am like a waterfall because I flow with ideas.
I am respectful, responsible and honest.
I love butterfies but I loathe spiders.
I value my cats so, so much.
I live in a magical world where everything is chocolate.
I am Megan.

Cold poem

cold poem

My teeth are chattering from the cold. "ts snowing, its snowing," I yell from the window. I can't wait to scamper outside to make an angel. I run upstairs to wrap up warm. I put on my jacket and scarf then run down the stairs. I slip on the doormat but I don't care. I open the door and jump off the doorstep and fall in the snow. I call for my brother but he's still in bed so I call for my sister and she comes instead.

It's dark and cold, it is night.
The owl is hooting loud. My body is shaking from head to toe.
Tomorow will be better, that's what I hope... so there you know.

The snow dog!

Article posted March 20, 2012 at 04:44 PM GMT+13 • comment (1) • Reads 97

Shanna, a 14 year old girl, was putting on her glasses for a day at the beach. It had been snowing for days and today all the snow was melting and it was sooo hot! In their apartment it was 82 degrees.

Her 9 year old sister who was named Destiny, said, "Shanna, where are the towels?"
"They're in the cupboard by Max's room." Max was her 4 year old brother. Her mum, Janey asked, "Where is my bathing gear?" "It's by Danny's room." Danny was Shanna's 15 year old brother.

Then Sally came up to her and said, "Where are my jandals?"
"There on the shelf, in the garage." Sally was Shanna's aunty who lived with them.

"Is everyone packed and set to go?"
"yeeeeeees!

On the way to the beach Shanna, Sally, Janey and Shanna's dad, Simon, were boiling hot. They thought they were going to faint.

"We're here!"
They had to walk up the road a bit. When they got to the changing rooms no one was there.

When Sally was done she saw the water was shining in the sun. She ran so fast to the water but when she got closer, she was stunned into coldness and disapointment. She yelled to the others saying, "The water's frozen. We can't swim!"
Janey said, "Yes!" But all of the others were sad. Destiny started to cry.

Simon saw a little head and body so small he could barely see it. Shanna relised it was a dog, so she called animal rescue to come get it. They were there in about 3 minutes because their company is up the road.

when they arrived, they went straight to the rescue centre. Seven minutes later the rescuers had slid across the ice, slid back and warmed it up.  They went home, looked after the dog and lived a happy, happy life.
