Blog 4 A conflict is important to all stories to make them interesting. Without conflict, there is no plot in a story. Conflict is what moves the happenings in the story along.Conflics are struggles, internal or external.Internal, a struggle against fate or circumstances,against ideas, practices or customs of other people. It can be a struggle within oneself, with ideas of right or wrong.External, a sruggle involving physical strength against another person or animals or the forces of nature.
