Timeline of the Future

http://money.cnn.com/technology/interactive/timeline-of-the-future/?source=cnn_bin

This article was more of an illustration, a graphic. It showed and indicated some possible inventions that could be used in the future. Unlike many people who think that we'll have flying cars in the future, this article was generally realistic. The article listed some plans for inventions by certain companies. Each one of the images of a possible invention had a link to a page with mroe inventions. Some examples of the listed inventions was a fridge that knows what's inside by Microsoft, a permanent lunar colony by Newt Gingrich, more advanced car batteries by IBM, and several more ideas.

This article interested me because I often wonder about the future. We probably won't have anything like flying cars, but I feel that in twenty years, iPods will become objects of the past, and will be replaced by much more advanced products. Our society is constantly progressing, with new inventions happening all the time. This article relates to our class because our class is centered around current technology. In five or ten years, the course will probably advance as well. Instead of learning about Word and Dreamweaver, students will be learning about newer programs.
