Anybots Lets You Work From Anywhere
Anybots latest product, QB, is a "virtual staffing robot [that] allows a human to work as a robot doing a human job." These slim, sleek machines look like coat racks, but they can be operated from any remote location. Although QB's do not posses mechanical limbs, the user is still able to move the robot freely around a work space. QB's features a screen which displays the operators face and allows the operator to see. The QB robot "greet customers, scan documents, fax, and print, among other things." It best serves as a receptionist, but the Anybots Corporation is looking to make further advancements.
This robot can have even further applications. With a few modifications someone could use it to gather notes in school, giving the operator the ability to relax at home or anywhere in the world while remaining up to date on current assignments. In general I found the QB robot to be very interesting, but its applications are endless and I hope that it can be someday use by more than just receptionists. As stated in the article the Anybots Corporation is looking to incorporate these machines in modern medical facilities.
