Does your sperm need a diet?
This article addresses that fatty foods may be associated with lower sperm quality. According to a study, published in the European journal Human Reproduction, men who consumed more omega-3 fatty acids like healthy fats found in fish and peanuts, had better sperm formation. Saturated fats led to lower sperm counts and concentration.
I am interested in this specific article because it discusses how a type of fat can affect the number of sperm a man releases. I never knew that saturated fats could lead to this kind of a problem. It's better to just stay from those kinds of foods as much as possible. Unfortunately, I cannot have fish or peanuts so that's a disadvantage to getting the omega-3 fats. This could come in handy for the future.
