The technology industry has been growing the fastest close by in New York. New York City's technology  industry is growing so quickly by attracting investors and engineers to join the reliable broadband network, despite spotty access. A few years ago, New "Tech" City had passed Boston as the second-leading breeding ground for technology companies. When the number of venture deals fell 10 percent in the nation, it rose 32 percent in New York. The industry was pushed to help stop people's dependence on Wall Street. Another major part of how New York became so tech savvy is how they redirected their technology goal. Instead of designing computers, they are devising applications for mobile devices.
