Wireless tooth tattoo can detect bad bacteria

Inventors have made a removable, wireless sensor that attaches to dental enamel and detects harmful amounts of bacteria in your mouth. This could play a key role in detecting and treating various diseases. 

I chose this article because i found it fascinating how this tiny chip attached to the tooth can wirelessly transfer all of this data, in real, up to date time! Technology is truly a gift.

Stunning high-resolution photo shows Earth's many hues

A Russian weather satellite recently took a picture of earth that is prbably one of the most detailed pictures ever taken of the earth. The one single picture is 121 megapixels, with .62 miles of the earth per pixel.

I chose this article becasue advancements in technology have allowed us to see our beautiful planet at an even more detailed view.

In future, movies may come to theaters by satellite

 This idea wasunveiled at the CinemaCon convention this week. It will bring traditional movie distribution fully into the digital age. the idea came from the thought of how popular digital streaming of movies is today. Many movie theater owners are very interested in this idea.

i found this article interesting because it is a very good idea to improve the efficiency of moviewarching everywhere.

Few brands have such a deep root in the united states as apple. it's amazing how apple is now in half of al american households because at one point Apple was going to reach bankruptcy. Luckily they diverted this with the introduction of the iPod, and everything after that is all smooth sailing.The overall ownership rate is 1.6 Apple products per American household, according to the servey 

i chose to do this article because we use Apple computers in class. i also found it amazing how rooted Apple is in American families

Nokia eyes tattoos that talk to your phone

Hate when your phone isn't by you and you miss calls or texts? Well now Nokia has discovered a tattoo someone could get, which would actually vibrate when they got a message. The vibrating tattoo not only works for texts but calls, emails, and calender alerts. In case you don't want the drastic commitment of having the tattoo forever, Nokia aslo has a patch you can attatch to your wrist to feel the vibrate. 

I chose this article because it is crazy how techonoly inventors have created an ink that interacts with the magnetic field given off by the phone to create a vibrating tattoo! technology keeps getting more and more interesting...

Google may be planning Siri rival for later this year

Google is said to have a new system in the works dubbed "Assistant", designed to help people complete tasks by voice. Assistant would follow Siri by offering a mobile, voice-centered engine designed to help users accomplish specific goals rather than just deliver search results. this could be a real threat to Apple and it's Siri technolgy.

I found this interesting because i am an Apple enthusiast and find it fascinating how voice technology works.

Microsoft Research demos an interactive transparent 3D desktop:

Microsoft is experimenting to see if a new Samsung OLED screen, which is transparent, can be used for a 3D computer! The desktop is just an experiment for now, but it could change the way we interact with our computers in general.

I chose this current event because it is amazing how we can have 3D transparent computers and how fast technology is evolving. Also, we are in Computer Applications class, and what better current event to have than about a computer!

Google Sees Bright Future In Smart Shades

Google is going ahead with manufacturing eyeglasses that display information to the wearer by an embedded screen. The glasses will reportedly run on Andriod. they will supposedly have 3G and 4G connections, as well as a low resolution camera. The prices likely fall between $250-$600.

I find this interesting becuse imagine having tiny, computer-like machines for glasses!
