 The Decline of Best Buy - Current Event 6 Best Buy isn't doing well at all at the moment. For it's fourth quarter it has reported a $.17 billion loss. Best Buy is having trouble competing with other consumer-electronics retail stores, such as the Apple Store and Amazon(.com), which have proven to be much more efficient than Best Buy. This article interested me because many of the electronics I own were bought at Best Buy. I've never had a huge problem with Best Buy, but this article pointed out a lot of its interesting shortcomings. McCracken, H. (2012, March 29).
