Author: Geronimo Stilton. Name of the book: The Curse Of The Chesse Pyramid.

This week I read chapter one of my my book and I going to tell you about it.

Geronimo Stilton, the mouse, was in his bed asleep when he heard the phone going RING RING RING which woke him up. When he answerd the phone he heard a familar voice saying WAKE UP WAKE UP. Then Geronimo got a taxi to the office were he works.  When he got there  he was head to head with his Grandfather , William Shortpaws.  Every one is afraid of his Grandfather because he is a tough talking mouse.

Once there was a gorilla named Willie who lived in a cave.He had a best friend named Ping.

One day they saw a potato swinging in the vines of the forest. Willie the gorilla thought it looked like fun so he asked if he could join in.

While Willie and the potato were swinging in the vines Ping the duck thought that he would take a nap. While he was asleep he had a bad dream about being chased by a big dog ridin a unicycle.

Willie the gorilla had to wake up Ping the duck be throwing jandals at him.

My understanding of division is getting better.  I really enjoy maths and like working them out and finding new strategies.  I have recently found out how to do long division with remainders.  

The most challenging thing I did today was going down a really steep skate bowl at Mt Maunganui .   I was really worried about going down into the bowl but then I thought I would just do it.  It was so much fun .

Hi, last week I went to Aussie.  It was my first time on an aeroplane.  Going up the run way was like being in a rocket ship. FAST! 

Once we arrived, I said that I would be first to step on Aussie ground! And I was! 

My favourite day was when we went to Dream World.  Firstly, I went on the Tower of Terror! You sit in a rocket ship and go flying up and I mean UP! It's flat as first then it goes straight up!  It feels you're floating in air.  I loved that ride.  It was my favourite.  I tried all the rides except for the Giant Drop.

The other places we went to were Movie World, Sea World and White Water World. It's the best holiday I have had so far! 

You should try a nice cup of hot chocolate. I recommend you it milky and sweet by adding lots of milk and sugar.  I do like any water in it!  Let me know your favourite hot drink.
