Today i made a website on how to build a rocket! I used flash to make the title and i used a video to show people how to build one too.

In web design we had a project we had to do. The  purpose of this project is to make a story come to life. We had the choose to make a book on either book creator, scribble press, or my story apps on the ipad. Also a coding part on a website called Codecademy. Another part of tthe project was to create an animation using flash. We also needed to create a game on SketchNation on the ipad. We could also create a video on the showme app. Lastly we had to write post blogs everyday.

First i made a book on the  Book creator app. I did my book on penguins. I thought it would be an interesting topic to write about. I put alot of images in the book and alot of great infomation. I also made sure that cited all the sources where i got my infomation. I need to finish the table of content and publish my book. This part of the project would be 30 pts.

Secondly i did the coding part of the project. I completed the course  thats called FizzBizz project. Then i completed the the course called More with Html class. Lastly i completed an additional codecademy course. This part of the project would be 30 pts.

Then i made an animation on flash. The animation i made tells the story of Humpty Dumpty. i was going to add sound but flash stopped working for me. This part of the project would be 30 pts.

Then i made a game called PenguinPower. You have to get the penguin to the finish line without being hit by a angry whale. I made this game on an app called SketchNation on the ipad. This part of the project would be 20 pts.

Lastly i wrote a blog everyday to show what i finished and was working on. This part of the project would be 10 pts.

If i got the maxium amount of points on this project i would get 120 pts.

For this project i completed the coding (30pts), flash animation (30pts), a game (20pts) and the blog posts (10pts). I'm almost done with my book. All i have to do is the table of contents and it would be done. That would be another 30 pts. So if i do the math correctly it would equal 120 pts. YAYYY!

Today i finish my flash animation about humpty dumpty.  Also i'm working on the codeademy. I am done with 2 lessons and im working on the third one.

Today i created a game called PenguinPower on SketchNation and i also started to create a book on penguins. I hope to finish it in the next two classes!

This app is an interactive book about a writer who wrote about everything, like my friend taylor swift! Back to the story, there is a big storm and all the writers books got destoryed and he becomes sad! One day he was walking and sees a girl who tells him to go somewhere where the books "nest"! To hear the ending of the story buy the app on your iPad! This app was really cool and it was very fun to interact with it! It reminded me of at the beginning of like all fairy tales where they have a giant interactive book that reads you the story! Oh! But if you are a kid the voice might be scary!!!! Ha ha I was just kidding! Have fun with you new app!

Today in class we are working with iPads! I love them I think they are so cool! Butthe point of this blog is to write a review of the app Six Strings! This app allows you to play the guitar, ukulele, drums, and so much more! If I had an iPad I would get this app!  If you have an iPad you should get this app.

Today i worked on a website called Codecademy! This website helps you with java script! As for 4/25/12 i have 39 points and 3 achievements! Try HTML Fundamentals! As of right now i'm  57% done with it!
