Learning about cells and such has been interesting, because it's been interactive. We've done many labs, which helps with learning about it. The best part was probably doing the labs, because we have gotten to see many different kinds of cells, and learn about of each one of them. I've learned about animal cells, plant cells, and bacteria cells. I learned that you don't actually just have them in science class, but their actually everywhere!

I've been reading "The Hunger Games" lately by Suzanne Collins. It's about a girl who enters a competition in place of her little sister. She's torn away from her family & friends. I really like the book. It's been verry interesting so far, & I can't get enough of it!

I love to play softball! It's been something I like to do for about two years. I put a lot of passion into becoming a better player, and it actually helped me to become a more focused, and devoted person!

Poets use a large variety of tools when they write a poem. One of the common tools they use is rhyming. They use this to make the poem have a more "up-beat" tone. It makes the reader more interested when reading the poem. A reader would want to read more and more of the poem if it had a rhythm to it. It makes it easier to read.

a) I think it means that if you can be compassionate and tolerate people, that you have to be strong enough to do that.
b) I could try to be more compassionate to people, and also try to tolerate them instead of losing my temper.
c) I believe that it could. If people had more compassion for people and tolerated them more, then it would be more peaceful. There wouldn't be as much fights.
d) It would make the world more peaceful. There would be less wars.

This year I would like to become more focused. And put more pride in my work. Recently it feels like I haven't tried hard enough, and I would like to change that.
