5th Grade Foil Sculptures
In Art class, 5th graders learned how to create gesture and scribble drawings based off of live models. After being inspired by the drawings and sculptures of famous artist Alberto Giacometti, students created sculptures of the human body using aluminum foil. These sculptures capture a movement or pose that the human body makes without including any details.
